Collective Actions
The NGO’s primary focus is on sport and human rights in countries experiencing political and social unrest, such as those at war or undergoing conflict.
- A significant aim of the NGO is to engage directly with sport governing bodies (SGBs), including but not limited to the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the International Federations (IFs), as well as continental sports organizations, such as the Continental Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) and the Continental Associations of International Federations (IFs).
- We intend to initiate dialogue with sport governing bodies (SGBs) to ensure they adhere to global human rights obligations. We believe that sport governing bodies (SGBs) have the power and responsibility to intervene when human rights violations occur within their sphere of responsibility. They should act to protect the interests and rights of those affiliated with sport, including but not limited to athletes, coaches, referees, volunteers, journalists, and workers.
